We simply love travelling and water!

If only underwater city of Atlantis have existed, that would probably be our dream home! Luckily, real planet Earth has also a lot to offer and we definitely want to see as much as we can. Our dream is to visit at least 100 countries in our lifetime and while doing it, we want to give something back. That includes continuation of our clean-up efforts in nature, promoting them and joining forces with local like-minded people.

Now, we finally sold our stuff, bought little bit of new equipment, tested Workaway on Tenerife and we are travelling through Central America.

We travel low-cost and as sustainably as possible! Low-cost travelling means using Couchsurfing for free accommodation with locals, cheap Airbnb when we want more privacy or Workaway which includes volunteering in exchange for free accommodation and sometimes even food. Sustainable travelling means using local transportation, using eco products like bamboo toothbrushes, Sawyer mini water filter to avoid buying water in plastic bottles, having reusable bags for grocery shopping, our own plates and cutlery because we love street food but that usually includes loads of single use plastics too.

Together, we have visited quite a few places and experienced some ups and downs, you can read something on the blog page and you can always contact us through this page or via social media. We love sharing tips.

Our way of travelling is almost always low cost. We don't avoid famous spots with possible high entrance fees because we still want to visit all the beautiful wonders of Earth and that often includes high entrance fees but we don't do expensive tours. Usually, we always figure out how to lower the costs as much as possible. So, if you prefer to travel cheap, MJ Aquaholics are here for you!
On our Instagram you can check short videos we made for each country we visited thus far. Our YouTube channel is slowly filling too! Don't miss our blog with interesting articles about water and blogs from our travels.
